"I love almost everything about this air mattress: easy and fast inflation, very cool "push button" deflating adjuster (to get the firmness just right), and it rolls up into a compact bundle. The pump is also a highly protective storage container -- genius -- and the 5" loft makes it possible to actually sleep on your side comfortably, unlike most camping mattresses out there. It is a bit narrow, but that's not an issue for me; in fact, two of them side-by-side fit perfectly in the bed of my pickup truck. But here's the catch: when inflated (especially when partially inflated, which is the most comfortable), this thing is incredibly noisy! Imagine the sound of crumpling up a newspaper and multiply by three, and you'll have a pretty good sense of it. Not exaggerating. I'm going to make sure I pack earplugs for me and my camping partner! It's not insulated, so it wouldn't be good for camping in cold weather, and it's too heavy for backpacking (where the insulated Exped is king), but it should be ideal for car camping in summer -- unless your camping partner is a light sleeper!" -- Jeffrey Fuller
