Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Sleeping Pad
The insulated Air Core Sleeping Pad is built to last, with a durable nylon top and bottom (nylon diamond ripstop in the case of 20-inch-thick pads) and a sturdy I-beam construction that eliminates welded seams.
The I-beam design offers several benefits:
- Minimized cold spots
- A consistent airflow
- Extra stability while you sleep
The pad is also warmer than most sleeping pads, with a temperature rating down to 15 degrees F. That's because the pad is insulated with either PrimaLoft Eco insulation (20-inch pads) or M3 synthetic insulation (25-inch pads). PrimaLoft Eco is a particularly good choice for eco-friendly consumers, as the insulation is made using 50 percent recycled materials. Should the temperature still feel too chilly, you can add a closed cell foam pad to bump up the pad's coziness.
The pad also includes an internal polyurethane coating.
The insulated Air Core is easy to inflate by using the plastic-coated EZ-Flate mouthpiece, which includes a non-breakable brass valve. To inflate, simply twist the black part of the valve counter-clockwise and blow. You can rest assured that the pad won't leak when you bring it home, as each Air Core is individually inflated and tested. And should you eventually need to patch a leak, you can turn to the repair kit, which is located in a small pocket on the inside of the stuff sack.

Big Agnes Two Track Sleeping Pad
The Big Agnes Two Track Sleeping Pad self-inflates and insulates you from the cold ground, so even if your teeth are chattering as you set up camp, you'll still get a decent night's sleep. The Two Track comes in two thicknesses for your warmth and comfort. Big Agnes rated its 1.5-inch pad at zero degrees Fahrenheit (4.5 R-value) and rated the 2-inch pad down to minus 25 degrees (6.5 R-value).
